This Assessment is designed to test the knowledge that you have acquired throughout the unit so far. Use the following tips to help you answer the questions:

Evidence of the ability to:

• All parts of the assessment must be completed successfully in accordance with the guidance provided in the Marking guide for the student to achieve competence in this unit.
• Students & assessors must note that professionally critical aspects/concepts must be included (e.g. cost –benefit analysis and use of performance ratios or comparison techniques, the key principles valuation and capital budgeting analysis and investment analysis, trends and quantify the business).

Final Assessment Task Treatment and Pitch

The assessment is composed of two tasks

as follows:

TASK 1: Written Drama Pitch (These scenes will be filmed as part of the next unit CUAIND401)

Write a 1 minute presentation (a ‘pitch’) for the narrative you created for Assessment 3 of this unit. (not to be presented)

TASK 2: Written Drama Proposal Submit no more than TWO pages. Font: 12pt.

Refer to your handout/Powerpoint: “ What is a Synopsis? An Outline? A Treatment?”

Write a 1 paragraph SYNOPSIS for your idea for the narrative you created for Assessment 3 of this unit.

Write a TREATMENT approximately 1 page long for your idea in the present

Tense for the narrative you created for Assessment 3 of this unit.

– include notes on suggested locations, projected audience, themes.
