Instructions
Using Kaltura, or similar software, develop an asynchronous audiovisual presentation of your plan for implementing the new or upgraded health information technology, based on the technology change proposal you developed in Unit 6.
The requirements outlined below correspond to the grading criteria in the scoring guide. Be sure that, at a minimum, you address each criterion. You may also want to read the Technology Implementation Presentation Scoring Guide to better understand how each criterion will be assessed.
Identify the goals, elements, and overall scope of an implementation plan most likely to garner leadership support.
What are the key factors having potential effects on outcomes?
What principles of effective change leadership would you apply to the development of your implementation strategy?
Analyze elements critical to the effective use of the proposed technology.
Consider the resource requirements to implement the plan.
Consider the influence of end users and other stakeholders on successful implementation.
Include any evidence you have to support your analysis.
Make data-driven decisions.
Collect appropriate and accurate data to generate evidence for nursing practice improvement.
Include the outcome measures that will provide evidence of successful implementation.
Assess the value and utility of particular evaluation tools in measuring the impact of the new or upgraded technology on outcomes.
Articulate steps for evaluating and resolving potential ethical and legal issues associated with technology implementation.
Are there clear cause-and-effect relationships among organizational functions, processes, and ethical and legal behaviors?
What are the ethical and legal implications of evaluating safety and quality outcomes associated with the change?
How can nurse leaders guide and support interprofessional care teams as ethical and legal issues arise?
Present a technology implementation plan to executive leaders.
Consider the information needs of your audience and any potential concerns they might have about the plan.
What questions or objections are they likely to raise?
How would you respond?
Express your key points clearly and coherently, and support your assertions and conclusions with credible evidence.
Apply applicable APA formatting to citations and references.
Proofread your slides to minimize errors that could distract the audience and make it more difficult to focus on the substance of your presentation.
Also, you should enter your hours spent researching, interviewing, preparing, and presenting this proposal as experiential practicum hours into CORE ELMS.
Submission Requirements
Presentation Format
Remember, you may use Microsoft PowerPoint or other suitable presentation software to create your slides. If you decide to use an application other than PowerPoint, check with your instructor to avoid potential file compatibility issues.
Most presentations will likely be 10 to 15 slides in length (plus title and reference list slides).
For your video recording, you may use Kaltura or other technology of your choice.
Supporting Evidence
Cite a minimum of eight credible sources from peer-reviewed journals or professional industry publications to support your presentation.
Upload your audiovisual presentation and attach the presentation slides, with speaker notes, to the assignment area. See the Using Kaltura tutorials for more information about uploading media. You may submit the assignment only once, so be sure that both assignment deliverables are included before submitting your assignment.

Presentation Design Tips
Being able to effectively address any audience is a necessary leadership skill. Remember that you are the speaker, not a projectionist. Your purpose is not to present a slide show. Your audience is there to listen to what you have to say, not read your slides—or worse, listen to you read them. Design your presentation slides to compliment and reinforce your message and engage your listeners.
If you need help designing your presentation, you are encouraged to review the optional presentation resources listed below. These resources will help you to design an effective presentation, whether you choose to use PowerPoint or other presentation software. You are also encouraged to review the following tips for designing presentation slides that work to your advantage:
Use a professional presentation template, or one used in your organization.
Ensure that your slide background provides sufficient visual contrast for your text and graphics.
Consider your intended audience and how best to communicate effectively with them.
Focus on the content of your presentation and the development of your key points. Remember that your purpose is to garner support for your implementation plan.
Create slides that support your presentation. They should not be your presentation.
Presentation slides are a visual medium. Images are more effective than text at engaging your audience.
Be judicious in your use of bulleted lists. You might even consider a separate slide for each main point.
Use speaker notes to record the details you want to communicate to your audience.
Speaker notes can also serve as an audio recording script.
Use images and graphics, when the visual representation of information facilitates understanding or effectively reinforces key points.
Avoid using images that are simply decorative. They can be a visual distraction and do not contribute to your message.
Avoid using flashy slide transitions and animations. They can be both distracting and annoying. Keep your slide transitions consistent throughout the presentation.
Add a slide to the end of your presentation to prompt questions from the audience.
Proofread your slides to minimize errors that could distract the audience and make it more difficult to focus on the substance of your presentation.

I WILL DO THE AUDIO VERSION OF THIS ASSIGNMENT.  I NEED 10-12 Power Point Slides that just have the bullet pointed material.  I need the paper to be formatted like Speaker Notes.  The technology that will be implemented should be EPIC.  It is an advanced Electronic Health Record System that is used nationwide to keep track of and communicate health care data for patients.
I NEED 8 PEER-REVIEWED SCHOLARLY SOURCES CITED. THEY ALL HAVE TO BE FROM 2015 AND LATER.  SO, NOTHING CAN BE USED FROM BEFORE 2015.  I will attach the grading rubric after the assignment is accepted.
