This paper is a thorough analysis of an Atlantic article, but does not satisfactorily engage with how it operates as a media device. Specifically, while describing a process in which facts are used to strengthen or prove its unbiased nature it does not develop a grander theory or hypothesis on the process. You do point out how opposition sides interpret the information but it lacks the engagement of a greater hypothesis.
